ROOM FOR THOUGHTS
THE STARTING POINT FOR THE WORK 'ROOM FOR THOUGHTS' IS AN EXAMINATION OF THE PHYSICAL FORCES WORKING ON US AND OUR BODIES IN EVERYDAY LIFE, AND IN WHAT WAY THEY AFFECT US. ALONG WITH EXAMINATION OF FORCES AND INFLUENCES THAT COMES FROM OUR SURROUNDINGS, FAMILY, FRIENDS AND PARTNERS FOR LIFE. AS WELL AS EXAMINING THE FORCES THAT COMING FROM WITH IN AND THE ATTEMPT TO MARK WHERE TO DRAW THE LINE BETWEEN THE INSIDE AND THE OUTSIDE WORLDS. THE RESULT IS A DUET AND VIDEO WORK, COMBINED TOGETHER TO FORM ONE STAGE EXPERIENCE. FOLLOWING A MOVEMENT RESEARCH FOR SIX MONTHS WE HAVE FORMED A DUET BETWEEN A MAN AND WOMAN CONFRONTING AND DEALING WITH A CONSTANTLY CHANGING SPACE, AND DEALING WITH INSTABILITY. THE RELATIONS IN THE STUDIO AND FROM THERE TO THE STAGE ARE MADDENING FOR THE DANCERS IN AN ENDLESS SEARCH FOR BALANCE BETWEEN THE TWO. THE MATERIAL MOVEMENT IS IN AN UNCOMPROMISING STUBBORN DIALOGUE, CONSTANTLY TRYING TO GAUGE THEIR LOCATION IN SPACE, AND TAKE THEIR PLACE, ONE AGAINST THE OTHER AND BY THEMSELVES. THE PHYSICAL DIALOGUE, REPEATEDLY CHALLENGED BY IMAGES PROJECTED ON IT FROM THE OUTSIDE. THE TWO ARE MOVING ON THE AXIS OF STRENGTH AND WEAK MODES, WRESTLING, AND FIND REST AND EACH OTHER ARMS. THE DANCERS' SILHOUETTES ARE IMPOSED ON THE SCREEN INCREASES THE SENSE OF SPACE AND TIME, AND THE EXCITING CONFRONTATION BETWEEN THE TOUGHNESS AND TENDERNESS, DESPAIR AND EXPECTANCY THE TWO ARE IN.
THE WORK PROCESS BETWEEN THE CREATION OF THE DANCE AND THE VIDEO WAS COMBINED AND INFLUENCED ON EACH OTHER. ON BOTH SCREENS WHICH CONSTITUTING THE WALLS OF A ROOM THE PERFORMERS APPEARING IN IT, SEEMINGLY, PROJECTED IMAGES, COLORING THE SPACE WITH SENSATIONS, FORMS AND THOUGHTS, SHAPES THE RELATIONS BETWEEN THE TWO PERFORMERS.
A COUPLE, A MAN AND A WOMAN, WHOM ARE CAUGHT IN A CORNER BETWEEN SLEEP AND AWAKE, ARE FORCED TO EXCEPT A NEW ENVIRONMENT.THE ROOM AROUND THEM FILLS UP WITH THOUGHTS. DIFFERENT WORLDS ENGAGE AND COLLAPSE, CONFRONTING THEM WITH INSTABILITY AND WITH THE LOSS OF INTIMACY. A 20 MIN. PERFORMANCE, INTEGRATING VIDEO-ART AND DANCE TO CREATE ONE EXTREME EXPERIENCE OF MOVEMENT AND SPACE. THREE ARTISTS ASSEMBLED TOGETHER TRYING TO DECOMPOSE THE COMMON PICTURE OF LIFE; WE WANTED TO UNARM OUR SELVES OF THE FORCES AND ENVIRONMENT WE ARE USED TO, IN ORDER TO SEE THE OBVIOUS IN A NEW LIGHT. IN THE PIECE 'ROOM FOR THOUGHTS' WE CHOSE THE WINDOW OF TIME BETWEEN SLEEP AND AWAKE AS A LABORATORY. THE TIME IN EACH DAY WHEN WE ARE NOT YET IN COMPLETE CONTROL, WHEN WE TRY TO RE CONQUER REALITY. DURING THE WORK PROCESS WE ALSO USED THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE DANCERS ON STAGE, WHICH CREATES ANOTHER BALANCE OF POWERS.

EVEGUY AND BRINNER CREATE TOGETHER A CLAUSTROPHOBIC INCUBATION, BUT SYMBIOTIC AND FULL OF LIFE, OF THE DENSE DUAL WITHIN ALL THIS MODERN NOISE. TWO WAX LIKE FIGURES DANCING IN A SEA OF URBAN CHAOS ... THE DANCE EXCLUDE REFERENCE TO THE OTHER OUTSIDE, WHICH BECOMING AN INTERESTING CHOICE. CLEAN AND BRAVE DANCE PIECE.

CONSIDERABLE WORK OF PROFESSIONAL HIGH LEVEL OF POLISH, AN ATTEMPT TO
DEVELOP AN ORIGINAL DANCE LANGUAGE, COMMUNICATIVE ENERGY BURSTS. 'ROOM
FOR THOUGHTS' IS AN INTERESTING RELATIONSHIP WAS INTRIGUING, MAKING A
ROOM TO THINK INDEPENDENTLY FOR THE VIEWER TO DECODE.
